The PAEE Annual Conference is an opportunity to celebrate and grow in the fantastic environmental education field in Pennsylvania!
Join us in person on March 10-12, 2025 for our Annual Conference at the Bayfront Convention Center in Erie, PA!

Monday, March 10 – Join us during the morning and early afternoon to explore Erie in our Pre-Conference Field Trips or the afternoon Project WET preconference workshop!
**AFTERNOON/EVENING** – Registration, Dinner for all, Annual Meeting, Awards Ceremony
Tuesday, March 11 – Breakfast, Conference Workshops, Lunch, Conference Workshops, Dinner, Keynote Speaker, Evening Activities
Wednesday, March 12 – Breakfast, Conference Workshops, Silent Auction Winners, Wrap Up Activity, Depart in Early Afternoon (Lunch on your own)

The theme of this year’s conference – Waves of Connection – celebrates what makes PAEE so special: our collective ability as passionate environmental educators to drive change through resilience, diversity, engagement, and connections. We encourage presentations that incorporate experiences and activities from community events, school programs, advocacy work, staff training, and more.
Our tracks for this year are
- Connecting to Science: Expand your knowledge on nature topics like rocks, mushrooms, and more with expert-led sessions! Dive into specific natural science subjects or explore groundbreaking research that can inspire and reach broader audiences.
- Connecting to Classrooms: Discover a variety of programs from across the state! Gain access to activities, lesson plans, and learning experiences, including STEELS-aligned projects and MWEEs, to enhance your teaching toolkit.
- Connecting to Communities: Learn how to build and strengthen partnerships that are vital to environmental education. Explore successful collaborations and discover how they help foster community engagement and environmental stewardship.
- Connecting to Nature: We all love learning outside! Join us for pre-conference field trips to explore the beautiful spaces in and around Erie.
